A Year down Yonder
A Year Down Yonder(130 pages) a great book by Richard Peck is about a girl that has to go to a town because of the depression. When she has to live with her grandma for a summer, her grandma gets her out and brings her into things that she wouldnt/couldnt have done herself, but after a while she finds that she likes the town better then Chicago...

I LOOOOVE this book... Heheheheheh... Giant snake, naked ladies being painted in the attic, marriage... It's one of my favorites.
